Screen Shots
Below are a series of screen shots showing the process of editing our silent moving image project.
Layout of Final Cut Pro with film cuts laid out to sort through.
Above shows the technique used to produce split screen. The two film clips used for the split screen, are placed on V3 and one on V2 so they are vertical to each other. I then clicked on one of the film clips, and then clicked on the 'motion' tab to then change the scale of the image, and used the centre button to place it where i wanted it to go. I then did the same for the second clip.
Illustrates the freeze frame button to produce till images.
The change speed icon is used to make a shot faster or slower by changing the percentage.
The slug icon used to produce black parts in a film, creating a more picturesque look. once created using the icon, the length and speed can be changed.
